Since launching the business that would become Path in 2008, giving back has always been a big part of why we do what we do.

You might not know, but our operations are based in Gaibandha, Bangladesh—one of Bangladesh’s poorest districts.

Over 47% of people in Gaibandha live below the poverty line. And frequent flooding, cyclones and other disasters pose incredible challenges that keep people in a state of struggle.

This is where I grew up, and where I started Path alongside my family.

And from the beginning, we’ve made it our mission to give back. To make sure that we were taking the resources that came to us, and using them to help make change in our village.

Since we started out as a small family business, we’ve put over $800,000 back into our community through our charitable projects and contributions. And today I’m proud to announce that we’re taking that even further, with the founding of our newly registered charity, the Anisa Foundation.

The Anisa Foundation is dedicated to making sure everyone in Gaibandha has access to the resources they need to live a good life, from life-saving disaster relief and healthcare to life-changing education and opportunities.

The foundation is named after my mother, Anisa. She has always been the beating heart of the good work we’re doing in Gaibandha. She’s now set to lead the whole family as we aim to make an even bigger difference in people’s lives.

I also want to say a massive thank you, to everyone who has been part of this journey with us. 5% of the revenue we bring in through Path is dedicated to transforming lives in Gaibandha. So if you’ve ever placed an order with us, thank you. We very literally couldn’t do this without you, and we’re so grateful for your support.

If you want to learn more about the work we’re doing through the Anisa Foundation you can read more about us right here, or you can contact us if you want to find out more about how you can help.

Every order, partnership and contribution makes it possible for us to help more people—and there are so many more people we want to help.

Join us, and be part of making a big difference in a place where it’s needed most.
